Coins of Other Ancient Civilizations
While no civilization ever matched the artistic brilliance of the Greek coin engravers [Celators], Other cultures produced artistic coins. The Parthian coins started out very similar to Greek style then evolved into more stylistic representations. The Mauryan coins of India have a chaotic symbolic beauty. The Muslim and Chinese coins utilize beautiful caligraphy to set themselves apart. The Sasanian Zoroastrians - well, I'm still trying to figure them out.
