A rough rarity rating is given via reference to the number of each coin that was found in the Reka Devnia hoard.. This hoard was uncovered in the Balkans in 1929 and consisted of over 81,000 silver coins. The coins were deposited during the reign of Trajan Decius and represent issues from as far back as Marc Antony. A total of 5217 coins of Trajan were catalogued by A. Mouchmov in his work Le Tresor Numismatique de Reka-Devnia (Marcianopolis). The coins will be labeled as "(RD = 8)", indicating 8 of this type of coin were found in the hoard.
